Beyond the catchy title, EDGE is actually an acronym that stands for Essential and Dynamic Guided Exercise. Founded by Michael Mills in 2006, EDGE had a humble beginning as a quaint private training studio in charming Old Town Pasadena, CA. EDGE Private Training Studio, as it was, specialized in providing 1-on-1 personal training and group fitness services.
Determined to help his clients achieve their fitness goals with greater efficiency, Michael committed himself to countless hours of scientific research, exploring and connecting the various metabolic mechanisms that influence fitness and fatness. Promising data was then put to practice, leading to the development of the Holistic Fitness Theory, an ever expanding fitness philosophy based on the synergistic relationship between exercise, nutrition, stress management, and sleep.
After years of clinical practice and client success, EDGE Personal training naturally evolved into EDGE Holistic Fitness, advocating an integrated approach that enables clients to achieve their ardent fitness goals with as little as 3 -4 hours of high intensity training per week.
